Total Comfort Mechanical's Response To COVID-19

BURLINGTON, MA. March 30, 2020

Dear Valued Customer:

At Total Comfort Mechanical our guiding principle has always been to “Take care of our customers and our team members”. This principle continues to be at the forefront as we take steps to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Total Comfort Mechanical is dedicated to the health, wellness, and safety of our customers and employees. We are monitoring the dynamic COVID-19 situation and following the Governor and CDC’s recommendations to ensure we are taking all necessary proactive measures.

With the recommendation of social distancing and self-quarantining, the needs for home maintenance and repair are likely to increase. While there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and its effect on our daily lives, one thing is certain: Total Comfort Mechanical will continue to provide worry-free HVAC services.

We have immediately put systems in place to prioritize safety while still maintaining our high quality of service.

TECHNICIAN PROTOCOL AND SAFETY MEASURES

  • As a precautionary measure, we have implemented increased hygiene routines, including hand washing or sanitizing before and after each customer visit.
  • The technicians have been instructed to minimize contact to anything beyond their tools and the equipment they are repairing — and all of that is sanitized before they leave the job.
  • The technicians will wear latex gloves while in the home and sanitize work surfaces.
  • As always, we will wear new and clean floor savers whenever we are in your home.

WAYS WE ARE STAYING CONTACT-FREE

  • Our technicians are avoiding all typical contact with customers such as shaking hands. Instead, we will be giving you a friendly wave hello and goodbye.
  • We love having conversations with our customers but for the time being, we will try to have those conversations from at least six feet distance or over the phone for your safety.
  • Our organization is limiting team member gatherings to minimize potential health risks.
  • We no longer distribute business cards or hand over tablets or any documentation. Rather we will take pictures and text or email everything to the clients.

Total Comfort Mechanical remains committed and prepared to respond to our customers' needs immediately and to provide the same level of trusted and quality service you have come to expect.

To the end, we are following the guidelines and safety tips outlined by the Center of Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). In addition, we are requiring employees to stay home and seek medical attention if they are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19.

We understand that the services we provide are essential to everyday life and your comfort at home. If you need us, please do not hesitate to call us at 781-999-1275 to schedule service. Our office staff and technicians are here to help you as needed with any of your heating and cooling needs.
